Rural Education Matters Set to Discuss Terms of a Charter School Authorization
ST. HELEN-Rural Education Matters prepares to take huge leap for-ward in their efforts to open a Charter School in Roscommon County. The group has been invited by LSSU to discuss terms of an authorization by the University. Several of the development team will meet with representatives on March 20th.
In addition to the steps taken with an Authorizer the group has received a letter of commitment from First Bank for the purchase of the existing building. Should the district not sell the property to the charter school then the group has received a lease for Township property on E. Airport Rd. to install a modular system building. A contractor is scheduled to do a site visit March 5th. Some of the companies modular school buildings are shown to the left.
